Mr. Kennedy has over 30 years of professional design experience in the discipline of civil and structural engineering including investigations, inspections, planning and preparation of contract construction documents. He has been in responsible charge of over 20 open-ended indefinite delivery contracts which included multiple civil, site, utility, storm water quality, water supply, sanitary, pump stations, storm water, bridge and erosion protection design assignments. These projects have included new facilities and rehabilitation to existing facilities. He has made extensive use of computers and AutoCADD in his design services. Mr. Kennedy has lectured on “Computers in Construction” at V.P.I., the Engineering Society of Baltimore and the Maryland Institute. He has conducted seminars on the preparation of ‘Critical Path Method’ schedules and he has used this technique in the scheduling of KPA’s design projects. Mr. Kennedy was a Teacher Assistant/ Instructor during his Graduate work at Virginia Tech., of “Structures” and “Materials in Construction”. He was involved in the design of Madison Square Garden in N.Y. and the St. Louis Gateway Arch. Mr. Kennedy has been in responsible charge of the structural design of over 100 institutional/teaching facilities in Maryland.
