KPA was Engineer of Record for Civil Engineering work surrounding this 49,500 sq. ft. Building Construction, adjoining the existing 193,000 sq. ft. complex. The work on the 17.68 acre site involved 4.50 acres with open “lay down” space for outside material storage, 9 truck parking spaces, 380 linear feet of rail siding unloading. Automobile parking consisted of 111 spaces at the front of the complex. The site is in a restricted urban setting with major industrial buildings on adjoining property. KPA’s work included landscaping, stormwater management facility, wetlands planting in the stormwater management area and avoidance of limited wetlands elsewhere on site. Included were sanitary sewers, watermains, storm drains, including both new and relocated facilities. Work required a Developers Agreement, prepared by KPA.
