24-Bed Juvenile Detention Center
Spread footing foundations in poor soil, all steel frame masonry walls, mezzanine framing, standing seam roof. This project is for the 24 bed juvenile detention center for pre-trial holding of individuals for short time (six weeks) periods, and included dining and classroom facilities.
The site consist of 8 acres, with a 50 car parking lot, an access road, including landscaping with grass, sedges and forestation.
KPA was Engineer of Record for both Civil and Structural Engineering.
