Field Investigate a 2 story, 70′ x 45′, commercial office building in Baltimore City severely damaged by fire. Provided feasibility study, including cost estimate, to add an additional floor as part of restoration of the burned-out facility. Provided testing of several members exposed to fire and, as a result, retained them in the final structure. Added 3,400 sq. ft. of office by raising the roof only 5 feet and provided a second means of egress. Provided Contract Documents for new protected steel framing for raised roof and new 3rd floor as well as for repaired/rehabilitated 2nd floor, 1st floor and walls for 3 separate tenants. Provided new interior footings and new openings in the dimizing walls. Provided CA services including review of shop drawings and periodic review of construction.
